Amenities of Savannah River Club on Lake Russell
The developers visited many successful upscale developments to get ideas to create a masterpiece on Lake Russell. In addition, they hired one of the premier land plan architects that has designed many of the most prestigious developments in the South East to assist with the land plan. The outcome of many minds pondering the design is pictured below, you be the judge.
Strategically located immediately below the clubhouse for maximum visual impact, the pool was designed to allow swim team activities as well as being a fun swimming area
Spray Pool
This is a wading pool for kids with water jets spraying allowing kids endless hours of playing.
Tennis Courts
Four lighted tennis courts are situated so that the dividing line between the courts forms a visual corridor between trees to the clubhouse. Two tennis pavilions with electric fans and picnic tables gives you a place to take a break between games.
Putting Green
Since we have two world class golf courses within 8 miles of the property, many folks will enjoy honing their skills on the putting green in front of the tennis courts.
Community Garden
Eight pods with fertile soil will be maintained for those that would like to grow organic vegetables, fruits and/or flowers. A person on staff will keep an eye on it to ensure that it always looks neat and tidy as well as watered.
Wildflower Meadow
A corner of the amenity area is set aside to be a wildflower meadow. A walking trail goes right by it for your quiet enjoyment.
Open Meadow
A large grassy area adjoining an elegant pavilion with a stone fireplace gives you ample place to throw frisbees, fly kites, walk the dog, play croquet or simply have a picnic with the family. Seating pavilions are scattered throughout the amenity area for shaded resting locations.
Walking trails
Meandering through the amenities area, the walking trails also connects walkers with the outlook pavilions, the ponds and the creek giving you miles of pretty scenery to go exercising.
The Clubhouse
An ~5,500 sq. ft. picturesque clubhouse will overlook the olympic size swimming pool. A fully equipped workout room, card room, sales office, sitting room with a stone fireplace, bathrooms and commercial grade kitchen complements the tastefully decorated and furnished clubhouse. This will be a favorite place to meet and socialize with family and friends after a hard day fishing, boating, swimming or golfing.

The amenities area was laid out to accomodate approximately 120 parking spaces so that you can have events at the clubhouse, swim meets or tennis tournaments.

The clubhouse is situated so that it will face the main road coming into the subdivision. On entering the subdivision you will come in over a rise and see the magnificent clubhouse framed by trees along the incoming road. There will be a visual effect created by the line of trees planted from the tennis court. If you stand at the courts and look down the tree line it will remind you of a southern plantation.
